Robert Altman, the photographer, was in North Beach signing copies of his new book, "The Sixties".
He wandered into my shop, and I recognized him from "the old days".
We are now collaborating on a new size edition of some of his iconic images from the "high" period of San Francisco music:

Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong decade - I adore sixties music, philosophies and even their disillusionment. A couple of months ago I was fortunate to visit a Carnaby Street revival (no hymns involved) and enjoy a taste of that era.
That book must be a treasured window into the decade.
